Juicy Couture Inspired Sitcom

Remember the iconic velour sweat suits brought to us by Juicy Couture back in the early 2000’s? Ever wonder what happened to the dynamic duo and founders, Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor? Now is your chance to find out. The green-light has been given and television network ,Freeform (formerly ABC Family), will be the new home of Made In L.A., a half-hour comedy based on the Juicy Couture founders memoir The Glitter Plan.

The show, being produced by the team behind the wildly successful show Gossip Girl along with actress Mila Kunis’ production Company, is said to be focused on friendship and fashion. It will cover how the clothing brand got started with a mere $200 and ended up being a global empire.

No word yet, whether or not it will touch on the downfall since its peak in 2009. The brand is currently owned by Authentic Brands Group, a licensing company, which exclusively sells Juicy Couture products at Kohls, a vast difference from when the brand could be found in stores like Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales.

Whichever direction the plot takes in this new series, we can safely say that we are undoubtedly excited about one thing: The fashion!
