Award season has officially begun! We love award season here at Design-Options; the glitz, the glamor, and the fashion! On Wednesday, January 6th 2016, the People’s Choice Awards took place at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
While celebrity guests like Taylor Swift, Dakota Johnson, and Sandra Bullock all took home those sparkling awards at the show, we have some awards to give of our own: The Best Dressed Awards!
While black and white was a common color palette throughout the red carpet (as it always is) some did it better than others.
Lucy Hale, one of the stars from the hit show Pretty Little Liars, turned heads in her Victorian Goth inspired look. The Mark Cosmetics Brand Ambassador sported the Vixen Lipclick lipstick. Her black and nude Self-Portrait dress featuring ruffles that were seen all over the runway for Spring/Summer 2016 and a lace-up bust has been all over Instagram couldn’t be more perfect for her petite figure. Simple Brian Atwood Pumps and Lee Savage Clutch finished off this look just perfectly.
We have been a fan of Kate Hudson since her starring role in How To Loose A Guy In 10 Days and our opinions haven’t changed. She has never failed to rock a jumpsuit on the red carpet and Wednesday was no exception. Chic and sleek in her white Stella McCartney onesie, she stuck to simple yet stunning Jorge Adeler mega-drop earrings and hair that was effortlessly swept up.
We have seen sparkle, glitter and jewels on the red carpet more times than anyone can count, but leave it to actress Claire Danes to do it a little differently. She brought the shine to the People’s Choice red carpet in a more demure fashion; wearing a beautiful Burberry gown, Kwait jewelry, and the classic red lip. We love it!
