We are in the heart of it all here in Los Angeles! With the fashion, jewelry, and flower districts right around the corner, it's no wonder we are obsessed with color. Since we took you on a trip to some of the coolest pieces of street art in our area, we thought we would take you on a journey through our immediate neighborhood, the places that we get our daily inspiration.
The famous Santee Alley. Enter on Olympic between Santee and Maple and you will be immersed in what seems like a completely different city. Deals are everywhere, for just about any fashion product that you can imagine. From trendy clothing and hand bags to shoes and sunglasses, if you are a deal hunter, this will be your haven. Grab a famous street dog or freshly cut fruit with chili and lime for a more authentic experience.
Looking for a deal on fabric and trims? The fabric district, in the surrounding areas of 9th and Maple, is you place! Michael Levine is easy and organized, but you can't haggle. If haggling is your game and patience is your name try the other shops!
Need a break from the heat? Or do you just want to go see (and smell) more pretty things? Take a walk over to the flower district where you can explore in both
