The Oscars are possibly the most coveted award ceremony for Actors and Actresses of our time and this time on the red carpet, the celebrities were there to impress. We were loving so many looks it was hard to choose our favorites! Check out who made the final cut.
Cate Blanchett looked timelessly elegant in a sea foam green Armani Prive cap-sleeve mermaid gown with Swarovski crystals, white feathers, and fabric petals. The Carol star’s milky skin looked flawless and her side swept blond hair completed the look.
Lady Gaga had our jaws on the floor when she arrived in her custom Brandon Maxwell white jumpsuit. White jumpsuits have been a reoccurring theme on the red carpet this awards season, all of which have been fabulous, but this one takes the cake. With a floor-length train and architectural neckline, she had us swooning. She took old Hollywood glam to the next level.
Sometimes uniqueness or daringness gets more points. This was the case with the embroidered Givenchy Haute Couture gown worn by (another) Carol actress, Rooney Mara. A seemingly modest dress gave us a peak of her toned abs with a unique diamond cutout while she showed off her legs with a center slit.
